How to Use an Anal Douche Safely – Step-by-Step Guide

Our anal douche makes cleansing quick, discreet, and simple. Follow these steps to ensure a comfortable, hygienic experience every time:

  1. Prepare the Bulb
    Fill the bulb with clean, lukewarm water. Avoid soaps, hydrogen peroxide, or alcohol to protect delicate tissue.

  2. Apply Lubricant
    Wash your hands and apply a silicone-based lubricant to the nozzle tip. Silicone lube provides superior glide and stays slick longer — perfect for anal play or prep.

  3. Find a Comfortable Position
    Most people find it easiest to squat, sit on the toilet, or lie on their side with knees bent.

  4. Insert & Cleanse
    Insert the nozzle just past the anal opening (about 1–2 inches/2–5 cm). Gently squeeze the bulb to release water. Remove the nozzle while squeezing to avoid backflow.

  5. Hold Briefly, Then Expel
    Hold the water for 10–30 seconds if comfortable, then expel on the toilet. Repeat if needed but limit to 2–3 rinses.

  6. Clean the Device Thoroughly
    Wash the bulb and nozzle with warm water and mild, unscented soap after every use. For best results, we recommend our Cleansing Mist to keep your douche fresh and hygienic between uses. Air-dry completely before storage.

Directions:

To use, compress the bulb and dip the nozzle into warm water, slowly relaxing the pressure to allow it to fill. Insert the bulb’s nozzle into the ridged attachment and then apply a silicone-based lubricant, like Pure Pleasure, to the attachment for ease of insertion. Once inserted, gently squeeze the bulb to spray.

Materials & Care:

After use, detach all parts and pieces, cleansing thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Position bulb and ridged attachment downwards to dry. Store in our Toy Tote, and Antimicrobial, lint free storage bag.
